Visit the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, and the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI). The bus will take you from Graz on Saturday morning after the conference, with the first stop at JSI, where you will visit the synthesis and materials characterization laboratories of the Electronic Ceramics department and the Advanced Materials department. We will then go to Ljubljana center for lunch and a guided city tour (easy walk), seeing the major cultural features from different periods of Ljubljana's history. After the tour, you will have time to explore the city on your own, take a boat ride, buy souvenirs, or have a drink on one of the terraces at the banks of the Ljubljanica River. We will meet again on the castle hill where we will visit the castle with its current exhibition and from there drive back to Graz, reaching it in the late evening hours.
