We are honored to organize this memorial session in tribute to the late Professor Ekhard Salje, whose remarkable contributions to science and academic life continue to inspire our community. This session celebrates his legacy as an internationally renowned Earth scientist, a leader in mineral physics, and a visionary former President of Clare Hall.

Professor Salje was a pioneering mineralogist, Fellow of multiple national academies, and a decorated scholar whose leadership fostered international collaboration and lasting impact in Earth Sciences and beyond.
